Just a wayward naturalist that is seeking adventure and inspiration in all aspects of life. Ideally when I'm not working I enjoy painting in watercolor and practicing my line drawings. Sometimes you might catch me dancing hula in weird places. But I'm always interested in learning new things, and meeting new people. I like to use scientific names whenever I can.

I lived on three Hawaiian Islands in remote wilderness for most of the time working on rare plant surveys and conservation. At one of these locations I climbed a 2000ft cliff for groceries and hula practice
