My name is Joey, I'm 26 and I work as a chef. I was born on the Isle Of Man (Manx!), then moved to Belfast, then to England where I lived in Kent. I finally moved to south London, amd would proudly call it my home. I trained to be a chef and have bren working at some top resturaunts in London for the past 5 years. Last winter I did my first season in yhe French Alps. what an amazing experience! I'm now addicted to going to new places and doing exciting new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life. I listen to many genres of music, including classical, hip hop, house, techno, jazz, blues, RnB, 90s pop, reggae, dub, and Uk garage. Discovering new music is just as important to me, so if you've got some music you'd like to show me then I would love to hear it!

I'm a big film fan. Favorite genre would be thrillers, something that makes you think. It's very hard to pin point my favorite films but I would say my top 3 would be The Machinist, Predestination, and I Origins.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to meet and work with Jamie Oliver. I showed him a dish that i had designed. He loved it and included it on one of his tv shows; Jamie's 30 Meals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to cook with you! Making food with other people is amazing thing . I'm really passionate about teaching people my how to cook and passing on my knowledge of food. As I mentioned, I like to sing. So maybe we could have a jam if you have a guitar or sing aswell. I'm learning French is a current goal of mine so I'm eager for any opportunity that will bring me closer to being a fluent French speaker. If I can pick up a few words in other languages along the way that would also be great!
