I'm an 18 year old lad from England, Leeds. I recently finished sixth form/college, studying Drama, English Literature and History. Now on a gap year, I've been working to fund my 6 month trip around New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going travelling around New Zealand with my bud, Chris, and we both think it would be super interesting to meet and stay with people who live there. I will certainly be staying in hostels from time to time but I really think that meeting all these different people as I go around will be an amazing, enriching experience.

As my interests state, I love to learn about other cultures and I think couch surfing will be a great way to satisfy this interest!

Super into music. As hobbies I play guitar, piano and sing. Also always been into acting although since finishing school this has dropped off slightly with work taking over.

I can be a bit of a geek at times, having been brought up around computers and games.

Saw the amazing firework display in Paris for National Day with my buddies whilst travelling around Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to say here but I'll give it a go.

My skills on piano and guitar are basic, having had no lessons and being self taught, but I'm by no means a total beginner and would be more than happy to share what I know!

As far as learning goes, I'm open to literally anything. As my interests state, I absolutely love learning about other people's culture and way of life. I'll have a go at just about anything you throw at me.

Sharing would be similar to what I can teach. I bloody love sharing music with people. There's very little I love more than meeting someone new, exchanging music and finding a whole new genre or even just an artist to listen to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm friendly and sociable and will happily just sit and talk, sharing memories and experiences for hours. I have plenty of music to share and am always open to try new things and just generally have a good time!

I'd like to say that I am a relatively stress-free guest. I'm pretty easy going and am more than happy to abide by any house rules you have.
