About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enrich myself and others by having a good time long conversations. Convsersations that keep you up till 3 or 5 in the morning are my favorite!

ABOUT ME

I am always curious! I love learning about new subjects as much as I can! I love talking and getting to know new people and believe almost any predicumant can be solved with good communication.

PHILOSOPHY

I love people and believe everyone's got a bit of good in them. Hoping to expand the knowledge of the goodness withinn myself and others through volunteering and traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed in Portland and a bit in San Francisco. I'm still a bit new to the site but have enjoyed my experiences and the people I've met thus far!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lovely stays on farms through WWOOF (World Wide Oppurtunities for Organic Farmers) and general silliness on various couches with friends around the US. Portland Oregon and San Francisco, California.

Interests

I love making art first and foremost. I enjoy working with glass, wood, and oil paint. I am also interested in sustainable design, utilitarian object making, and garden planning and set up. I enjoy attemting to grow, store, process, and cook food in urban and rural enviornments. i also love working on bikes hoping to build my first one here soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything wierd and have been known to have a morbid sense of humor. I'll watch just about anything that's not a mainstream romantic comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently participated in the 20th Anniversary of Critical Mass in San Fransisco and it was hands down one of the most beautiful moments I've witnessed. So many people on bikes, laughing, singing, playing music, talking, and promoting an alternative to vehicular transportation. Wonderful! I also was able to see the sun rise and set from a mountain peak, which overlooked the Monterrey Bay area of California, at a farm i visited not too long ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit about wood carving, canvas preparation, power tool usage, glass blowing, food growing, bike maintenance, painting (both artistically and practically), cooking, baking, cheese making, global politics, and maybe sometimes you can get me to dance.
