ABOUT ME

Hi Im, Grâce 23 years old,

At first sight, I seem a bit shy but as we feel comfortable, we become quickly chatty. I love discussing and listening to other's stories. A bit scatterbrained, I'm easy going and open-minded (one of the reasons I'm writting right now).

I can tell you about the school where I just have finished my studies to give you an idea about who I am...
ISTOM is a higher education school of international agro-development. It offers a multidisciplinary training programme unique in Europe with agronomic, economic and sociological sciences.
How could we describe the “Istomian” people... It’s like a big family of travelers a bit scatterbrained wich members enjoy plants, world music, fancy dress parties and meeting at night around a warm camp fire with djembes, guitars and fire dancing. One of our professors resumes it as the following : “You don’t need to be crazy to join us but… it helps ! =D”

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

With my former roommate, we hosted people when we were in Cergy, next to Paris, but it was a bit far.
Now, since we are traveling and looking for a job it will be quite difficult to host.
But as soon as we have a home, sweet home, we will be abble to share a piece of France and many experiences !

Interests

We are both interested in reading, surfing the net, travelling, meeting people, discovering new ways of living, nature (hiking for example) etc...
I love cooking (especially exotic dishes) listening to music, playing videogames, going to parties, dancing, drawing. I did horse riding for 6 years.

Movies : All, especially fantasy or comédies.

Music : All kinds, from metal to indian music, by french classics, rock, reggae, rai, pop, japanese and korean music, reggeaton, ska, coupé décalé...

Books : The Lion (Kessel), Jack London's books, all book that make make travel and dream (Geisha, Tanamera, books on psychology also

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wonderful trips in Namib Desert, sleeping out and camping in the middle of nowhere in Botswana with hyenas beating around the tents.
