I need and love to feel free in any kind of situations as much as I need the (fresh!) air to breathe: then I am affable, open for good and honest discussions and really interested in diverse people and things. Under pressure I tend to be cautious and a bit too serious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started in my childhood with my parents having lots of friends (e.g. in Poland), whom we visited regularly and vice versa. By now I've been spending most of my holidays visiting friends living somewhere else and I really enjoy the adventure of 'diving into someone else's world'. It's not just travelling, it's getting in touch with the pros&cons, the complexity and vibrancy of a foreign place! So, when a friend told me about CouchSurfing, I joined quickly and I look forward to explore new places by CS! As a host I've made several very positive and interesting experiences and whenever it's possible, you're welcome to surf my couch!

Interests

at least some: people, society, politics, books, writing, cooking AND eating, cities, nature, yoga, comics, eyes! and faces, family structures, fair trade and chocolate.

A wide range from hard stuff like Dogville and 21 Grams to more entertaining but nonetheless inspiring movies like Wes Anderson's.
Authors impressing me: Rushdie, Dosto'evskij, McEwan, Musil, Høeg, Kurkow, Pamuk, Adiga, ...
Music (according to my gut feeling): The Notwist, Sanagi, Kat Frankie, The White Stripes etc. and I love dancing to Ska music in general.
