Kia ora! (That means 'hello' in the native Maori language of New Zealand). My name is Johan. I'm 32 yrs of age and a keen outdoors man! I enjoy challenges both physical / mental and love a bit of adventure! I currently work in the broad and diverse field of logistics. (I really encapsulate being a 'jack of all trades [logistics], master of none' in that regard...) :D

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I went to New Caledonia in 2018, Tahiti in 2019, India in 2023 using the couchsurfing app and found it such an incredible experience, getting to know my hosts real well, being able to tap into the local knowledge and gain a deeper appreciation of the French Polynesian and Indian culture through stories. In addition, I was so inspired after, particularly, those Polynesian trips, I have been learning the French language for a few years since.

Intereses

In my leisure time, I enjoy playing indoor soccer, going to the gym (a lot), guitar, reading and learning French. In my spare weekends, I enjoy tramping all around New Zealand above or below the bush-line!
