Hi! I am Johan, 27 years old. I come from France, in a small town close to Lyon. I can speak English (yes French can speak English!), Spanish and Russian (I lived in Russia during 8 months). I have also some knowledges in Portuguese. Since June I'm in Argentina with a Working Holiday Visa. I'm travelling in Argentina and other countries in South America and I will stay in several towns during my travel. I would like to meet people, share our differents cultures and have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like meet people and get to know each other. We can learn from each other more than expected... Couchsurfing is for me the best way to travel because you speak with people, you can know more about local culture. It's also a good way to have advices, to know what it's interesting to see in a place. And of course you can share good moments and have fun with new people. In a foreign language it's even more funny!

Interests

I really like sport and practice them. Especially football, tennis, and cycling. I'm really curious, I read a lot of informations about environment, history, the news... and I like speak with people, share opinion, culture (music, film, language, cooking...), get to know each other and make parties. That's why I like travelling. I like sometimes cooking and especially cook for friends and eat together.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : « Don't stop me now » played by « Queen ». This music makes me happy every time I listen it.

Movie : The trilogy « The Lord of the Rings » is for me the best. I like fantastics universe. And I have red the books « Lord of the Rings » before the films. And the three films are just perfect. The landscape is beautifull and even now I use sometimes to listen again the musics of these films.

Book : I wanted to say « The small Prince » by Antoine De Saint-Exupery, for all the sentence, on the book, which you could remember and applied all during your life. But I want to say « Round trip around the World in 80 days », by Jules Verne. Because I have to present this French author who thought about travels, sciences, adventures and wrote really true stories with the knowledge of the 19th century. The Jules Verne's books are an involvment to travel and discover new country. And I follow the guide since I'm 18 years old !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hang-glider in Rio de Janeiro. I had to run from a high hill but with a really small space to leave. And during the flight it was just amazing to see all the city, with the sun and the sea. One of my best moment in my life. But I have a lot of other experiences, so if you want we could meet us to share them !

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want we can speak in French, English, Spanish or Russian. I can also speak about France, I have with me a lot of music, films and informations about France... We could speak about travel because I have ever been in lot of countries in Europe, I have lived in Brasil during 3 months in 2014, and in Russia during 8 months in 2015.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course my hapiness and my « joie de vivre » (keep and enjoying life). I can share my knowedges about languages, France, cutlures, subjects in daily life, travel, cooking. And also my curiosity in many subjects : music, movies, history, astronomy, culture, sports, cooking...
