ABOUT ME

We're pretty much as most other guys with no superpowers. We do find interest in most ordinary things as most of the common folk (bird singing, sun shining..) and we are happy to share them with others. Slow motion is our motto, so we're trying not to rush things and enjoy as much of the world within our reach as possible (which necessarily means travelling every now and then). Currently, we're doing rather interesting almost anthropological research and thinking what to do with the plan that we put together which was about cycling from here to somewhere it's warm and sunny..!
For that we have started a website (http://www.slowmotionspin.eu/) and we write (occasionally)a blog in English (http://slowmotionspineng.wordpress.com/) and Czech (http://slowmotionspin.wordpress.com/). Have a look around, to see who we are, where we are and if you want you can let us know, what do you think about it.
P.S. sorry to say that, but some of the details on our website are a bit out-of-date, but we hope to do something about it some time soon...

We have been hosting few times now (not too many though) through CS and from other sources. We hope to keep doing this in the future (just wait we need to get some couch)

Interests

We are passionate about cycling and everything that comes with it, being it sometimes as remote as knitting or cooking. While we enjoying travelling, we (being both anthropologists) are keen to observe and attempt to understand others, their habits and ways of life, so we have much to think a talk about during long winter evenings. But honestly, having a cup of decent coffee on a sunny bench in your front garden is often life-engaging as well...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately, we've managed to finish a one year MA course on University of Manchester, while working part-time.. not necessarilly awestrucking, but still an amazing thing! Last year, we have got rid of most of our things in UK and loaded (almost) everything else on our tandem bike and cycled from Edinburgh to Prague - what we loved about it was that we made it exactly 2013km in a year 2013 (almost magical)
