Hi! I'm Johann, 23. Im from Singapore, but currently studying in the UK in my final year of degree in Music Technology.

I love travelling to new places, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures! I'm really adventurous and spontaneous. I play guitar fairly well. I'm up for a good old blues jam anytime.

A perfect evening would probably be a BBQ campfire, cold beer, good company under a vast starry sky. (yet to check off my bucket list)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For the past 20+ years of my i've been in southeast Asia and have visited countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Australia and India but I've never travelled to this side of the world (Europe/America). Now I'm so close to Europe and Scandinavia! countries I've only dreamed of visiting! So i'm taking this final year while I'm here to see as much of the world as possible!

It's the people that make the place! Visiting as a tourist is fun but visiting a friend is even better!

I'm on Couchsurfing because I don't just want to visit a place and leave with just photographs but also memories, the understanding of a new culture and most of all new friend!

My Favourite artist is currently Of Monster and Men! But i love tracks from Bon Iver, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, The Oh Hellos. I also really dig 90's pop/rock! (westlife, linkin park... that era)

My Favourite movie franchise would be Lord of The Rings! Favourite TV Series is currently Vikings although i really like GoT, HIMYM, and Parks and Rec!

The only books i read are really my research text books.
