I'm Johanna and I've been in the U.S. since July 2015 when I decided to become an AuPair.
Currently I'm living in Park City, Utah until July 2016.
I'll leave to go back to Germany in August.
I'm planning a travel month through the U.S. before I get back home. I'm so excited to explore even more beautiful parts of the states. My destinations are Hawaii, LA, San Diego, New Orleans, Miami, Washington and New York. I think I picked some interesting and unique cities and I'm hoping to find a lovely place to stay during my trip!

I would describe myself as an open minded person with a big heart. My interests have changed a little during the last months so that I became quite "outdoorsy" and curious about the beauty of nature. However I'm excited to explore big cities and the nightlife haha.I'd love to see some unique and special places in all the cities listed above and get to know the lifestyle or "spirit". I'm not a regular tourist who's interested in museums and culture a lot even though a little sightseeing is a must, I guess haha

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Since I'm doing a travel month in summer I'm new on CS and hope to find some great hosts for an unforgettable time. I figured couch surfing is a great opportunity to stay with people who know the city well and to get to know some insider tipps about what to do and where to go.
As well, I'm hoping to hang out with some people since I'm either traveling alone or with my brother.
Also, Id love to get to know people's traditions and exchange culture.
In other words - I'd be happy to socialize a little :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've hiked the Grand Canyon from the north rim to the south rim in 2 days. We spent the night at the bottom of the canyon at the phantom ranch. It was an unforgettable experience to walk into this huge whole. I've never expected it to be so beautiful in there! Getting out the next day was the tough part since it was a never ending uphill hike. But I'll never forget the feeling after we'd made it. I felt so thankful to be alive and proud that we made it. It was definitly an amazing experience for a 19 year old german girl haha
