I might be mildly insane. I love to make art. I'm a student. I love writing, reading, hiking, biking, travelling, making delicious vegan food, drinking beer, dancing badly, napping and trying new things.

I'm obsessed with bad movies. I enjoy midnight swimming, coffee, crafting and listening to people talk about their passions. I'm obsessed with my animal friends.

I have hosted a few really great people doing really great things via Couchsurfing. I look forward to experiencing it as a surfer in the future!

All books, anything with words--from Harry Potter and LOTR to Stieg Larsson's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Gregory Maguire's Wicked! Right now I'm on a T.S. Elliott kick, but I'm also all about horrible urban fantasy novels by people like Faith Hunter and ridiculous authors like Christopher Moore. Also, old comic books.

Movies: Anything truly horrible gets my approval--the Granny, Trick or Treat, Lesbian Vampire Killers, anything with vampires/Dracula (pre 2001), Thirst, the Maid, Old Boy, the Howling, the Gingerdead Man, Pinocchio's Revenge. Oh, I also like some good movies...favourite of all time:Doris Dörrie's Cherry Blossoms! Watch it now. You will cry.

Music:Foxy Shazam, Die Antwoord, Kimbra, Gotya, Florence and the Machine, Billy Holiday, Nat King Cole, Nesian Mystic, Michael Jackson, MSI, Lamb of God, Fear Before the March of Flames, old Slipknot (pre-Subliminal Verses), really bad screamo and and anything so heavy your head explodes. And almost any obnoxious rockabilly/psychobilly. Oh, I also like Bach, Brahms and Grabriela Ortiz.

I crochet, hike, sing, craft, write, talk politics, smile. I'm no expert at anything, but I would love to share anything I know with anyone I encounter. My most valuable skill is positivity. I would love to share it with you. I can also teach you how to veganize almost any recipe...especially those that contain chocolate.
