I am a student from Vancouver, where I study French and English literature at UBC. I'm currently studying in Lyon and traveling and exploring as much of Europe as I can!

I'm easy going, love good food and am always ready for a beer.

I grew up on Vancouver Island and will forever have a deep love and appreciation for the ocean, forests and mountains. After living in China briefly as a child, I developed a very strong connection to my Chinese heritage and absolutely love returning to China and eating great food and learning history and culture. This is my first time being in Europe, and I can't wait to see more of it! Living in Lyon this semester has been a dream and has truly opened my mind to the endless possibilities and experiences ahead of me. I can't wait to continue traveling and learning!

I grew up being classically trained in piano, and it's one of my greatest hobbies. Beyond classical, I'm pretty much open to anything- from rap, rnb to 70s rock and indie pop.
Some of my favorite artists are: Jack Garratt, Childish Gambino, Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald, Simon and Garfunkel, Phoenix, Red Hot Chili Peppers...
