About Me

CURRENT MISSION (2024):

After 2 years of regular work back in Germany (Munich Airport), i am now taking some months OFF to escape Winter and return to some Sun, Sand & Ocean.

The plan roughly will be...

January: THAILAND (Phuket)
Febuary: ASIA (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam)
March: sth random (Myanmar, Srilanka, Bali)
April: THAILAND (North)

Feel free to be part of this adventure! In terms of meeting, hosting, and sharing: for sure you ll be appreciated for everything you offer and i ll always give my best to give back!

To all DANCERS out there: Invites and Advices to SALSA, BACHATA, KIZOMBA Communities, Socials, Parties, Workshops etc. are always Welcome :)

BEFORE THAT:

For more than a year year (September 2020 - Dezember 2021) I was "based" in Southern Spain/Andalusia/Portugal
"Based" in this case meant to fulfill my obligations at Granada University (online during Corona-times) while living always close to the beach, surfing and working my way around, but also to have returned home with a better spanish-knowledge combined to a sustainable network of new friends and (cultural) exchange.

2017 I returned from almost 2 years travelling in and around New Zealand/Australia/Indonesia/Phillipines..,
Then I actually managed to settle for some studies in the beautiful city Kufstein at the foot of the mountains in Austria. During every season definitely a place to be for everyone who loves the mountains and sports like climbing, mountainbiking, hiking, skiing or snowboarding.
Also during that time I worked at Munich International Airport (MUC) as Turnaround Coordinatior for more than 3 years until now. Beeing outside on the ramp, directly working on, around and inside the aircraft not only teached me how to make sure the aircraft leaves safe and on-time, but also - due to crazy working hours/ shifts - regulary provided the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

As I couchsurfed all around NZ and OZ during former travels as well as all the new countries after that (UAE, Oman, Mexico, Belize, USA, Turkey, France, UK etc..) I recognized it as a magnificant way to meet those people 'beyond', share stories, lifestyle or try out new things.

During my time in Kufstein I finally wanted to give back and offered my home too, whenever it was possible. Dozens of travellers and (now) friends from all over the world were able to explore the beautiful area tyrol, the south of Germany, go skiing/snowboarding in the alps or visit Munich.

Interests

*Newest Addition to things I like to do in my spare time:* Latino Dance (SALSA & BACHATA) as well as KIZOMBA.

The (sometimes) crazy All-Time Favourites: Wakeboarding, Climbing, Ice-Climbing, Alpinism, Skiing, Snowboarding, Surfing, Kitesurfing, Horse Riding, Hiking

Music & Art: Guitar, Piano, Festivals, Camping, Nietzsche

Also - across all the years travelling - here and then I started teaching myself putting together some GoPro footage and like that now continuously learn more about how to edit proper videos.

Music, Movies, and Books

Myself playing Guitar, Base, Piano... once in bands and always whilst enjoying almost every kind of (live-)music as well as festivals and simply singing along at campfire.

The most life-teaching book for me: "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Friedrich Nietzsche, one of the few extraordinary thinkers and philosophists of modern time.

Salsa, Bachata or Kizomba Music makes me wanna dance immediately ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-2nd on Podium at WWA Wakepark World Championsships 2015 (Abu Dhabi).

-Discovering places on earth where no human-induced sounds occur for hours and days...especially when climbing x-hundreds of meter high multipitch-walls that haven't been touched by anyone for years.

-Got to experience a commercial flight in a Boing 737 from the pilots point of view in cockpit sitting beside them.

-Work as a seasonal worker for several months at an organic farm (fruit, vegs and flowers) during the Corona-Lockdown...
Doing every kind of work all over the process that food makes from seeding towards the customer (planting, harvesting, cultivating, marketing, sale etc.) teached me to appreciate what millions of foreign seasonal workers each year contribute to a seamless delivery chain of the most essential ressource: FOOD.

-Resist certain but nowadays almost invetiable social Media Platforms completely (Instagram, TikTok, Tinder)... Never used those (only Whatsapp & old-school Facebook) and plan to avoid them still as long as survival is possible without :D
