I am Johanna, 25 years old and I study .... in the beautiful city of Hamburg in the north of Germany. I love doing all kind of sports.... especially in the nature like skiing, hiking, biking and surfing. I like to hang out with my friends and to be on adventures. I love the spend my time in bars and coffees or just relaxing at the beach.
I am a very open minded person, that likes to share his culture with other people. I am even more interested to get to know the culture and the people in the country where I am traveling. I like to discuss and share experiences.
I am planning a trip to Guatemala and Mexico with my sister and I am looking forward to meet new people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like interconnectivity that is possible between humans of contrasting backgrounds and lifestyles, how individuals from across the world can create friendships based on communally shared values. Nowadays, I think it's more important than ever before regarding what happens in the world at the moment. That is why I am on couch surfing, to appreciate, understand, and learn from our differences that make us ourselves and to greater understand how regardless of our differences we're all connected.

And for sure making new friends and having a good time together!

I love going on festivals. There are also a lot of great books, and I am still trying to catch up.. My favorite until now: Illuminati.
I am not so into TV, but watching series on a lazy rainy sunday is great ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I crossed the Nile river on a boat
- I did cross skiing in the middle of nowhere in Norway for 2 weeks
- I saw the Pyramids in Egypt

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can host (one traveler) at my apartment. I can also share advice on the best of times to be had and places to visit, and if my schedule works out I would love to spend some time with you traveling and venturing around Hamburg. Even if it rains 😛
