ABOUT ME

I am cheerful, outgoing and easy to be around. I might not be the loudest or the most chatty in the group but I love meeting new people. I think the greatest way to spend weekends is to be with my closest friends, gathering at someone's flat or at a park, drinking some wine, listening to good music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some nice people in Warsaw via Couchsurfing, as we seeked guides to show us the city. That's my only Couchsurfing experience so far but I'm hoping to get some more in the near future!

Interests

I love photographing, especially taking photos of people. My other interests are writing, movies, reading and occasionally snowboarding. We've had animals in our family for as long as I can remember, at the time we have two dogs and a horse, so animals are very close to my heart, too.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I'm very open-minded. These days I listen to a lot of Finnish music and besides that, Bon Iver, Regina Spektor, The Doors, Bon Dylan and so on. My boyfriend and flatmates love electronic music so I'm pretty familiar with that, too and I've grown to like it.

A few of my favourite movies are Schindler's List, Girl Interrputed, Breakfest at Tiffany's, A Beautiful Mind, Juno, The Reader, and the list goes on... Star Trek is my weakness! I love watching movies, but not the crappy, empty headed Hollywood entertainment.

I read mostly Finnish literature, but Milan Kundera is one of my favourite foreing authors.
