ABOUT ME

Hi ! Johanna, 25, I work in Tourism, in Northern France :)

I'm a really laid back person who just tries to enjoy life as much as possible :)

I'm currently planning a trip to Canada with my boyfriend in September 2014 and looking for some people living in Montreal or Quebec... who could host us for a couple days :)

I live in Lille (North of France) so if you plan to visit that city, do not hesitate to contact me ! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Well, life is short, so I just try to enjoy it as much as I can.

I think travels are so inspiring. I love discovering new cultures, new ways of living. There's nothing better than travelling to find out who you really are and to become the person you want to be.

As we say in French, "Les voyages forment la jeunesse" (Travel broadens the mind). ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered couchsurfing when I traveled in the US in 2012 during 3 months with 3 friends of mine, and it was amazing. We met really great people and learned so many things not just about american culture, but about people and life in general. Sharing our experiences in life was really inspiring. We also visited things we would have never discovered if we had traveled by ourselves.

I never know where to start when I have to answer to that question, I love so many things.

Music, especially British rock bands. Going to concerts.

Watching movies and series (HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones and many more...)

Hanging out with my friends, having a drink in a pub...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Standing on the edge of a canyon while visiting Canyonlands, with literaly nothing under my feet.

Sitting at the top of an arch in Arches National Park with, again, emptiness surrounding me. Frightening but so exciting.

Visiting Yellowstone.

Walking on the Golden Gate Bridge.

Attending a TV show in LA.

VEGAS ! No description needed...

Visiting a town without knowing where you're going to sleep at night and meeting amazing people who welcome you at their place without even asking them.

Meeting the same people (complete strangers) in 3 different places (Canyonlands, San Francisco and LA) within a month. (Coincidence ? I don't think so...)
