ABOUT ME

i like to watch, listen to and think about what's happening around me a lot and maybe that's part of the reason why I talk little, sometimes. people often ask me if i'm shy and then i don't know what to answer. possibly yes, a little bit. but still, i love people and i love talking to them as much as enjoying their company in silence.

PHILOSOPHY

life's changing every second. no matter how precise and detailed your plans are, at some point they will be knocked over and everything will come out differently than you thought it would. changes always contain something good, to be happy you just have to see it, accept your situation and continue your way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

both my hosting and my surfing experiences where mostly good - except for certain people who at first agreed to host me and then didn't write to me anymore. that's annoying, imagine coming to a place because you trust a person who offers you a place to stay and then you don't have accomodation because this person just doesn't show up. apart from surfing and hosting, i've known lots of couchsurfers through friends, too, and they are all great :).

hiking in the high atlas: i climbed jebel toubkal, north africa's highest mountain, and saw the most beautiful night sky on the ascent. never before had i seen that many stars at a time, it was overwhelming.

discovered that there is a bazillion people in this world who are willing to share everything and offer you all they have, no matter how rich or poor they are, if you are friendly and don't ask to much of them.

when i was robbed in alicante - they took my backpack with all the money, my camera, the passport, the cell phone,... - and felt close to a collapse because of desperation, three strangers stopped and wanted to help me. they gave me money and called the police, one woman even offered to host me at her place in case i didn't have any possibility to get back to the town i stayed in that time. a man accompanied me to the police station. it was overwhelming how helpful they all were although none of them knew me.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

i'll share all my skills if there's something you're interested in. let's see... if we find time, i can definitely give you a yoga class, teaching you the basics or even more advanced stuff. i can show you some nuad techniques. i would take you climbing (indoor or outdoor). i play the piano (although not as much as i used to) and love cooking. sewing and knitting. now and then i try myself as hairdresser (and my brother and sister seem to like the results ;)). oh yes, and i would teach you some german if you want.
