About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live every single second in New Zealand

ABOUT ME

I was thinking about this question now for a while but I still don't know what friends would say about me. But I try it.
I am most of the time in a good mood and I try to enjoy the small things and normally I don't need much to be happy. During the time I noticed it is better to think positive instead if negative.
Probably I will add something or change something if friends are saying 'Johanna that's not true.'
My first hoster, Artur, would say that I'm also chaotic and unorganized.

PHILOSOPHY

This is quite a hard question. But I think the people around me and the nature are helping to know what's important.
Sometimes you have the feeling you just want to stay in your room for ever and never go out anymore. But than you see something beautiful like a cloud or a flower or you have great time with your friends or family and you say it's worthwhile to live just for this moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am moving.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer I was for three weeks in Scotland where I had my first CouchSurfing experience. It was great. He had so much trust in us and because of him Glasgow was fantastic.
We arrived in Glasgow. We were tired, it was raining and we couldn't find the house of our hosted. We had really a bad mood, everything was horrible and he welcomed us with hot chocolate. And after the chocolate everything was alright.

Interests

I love theatre and the atmosphere there. To visit plays and to talk about it afterwards.
I spent a lot of time with reading and to dream.
Twice in a week I'm dancing ballet.
And I try to do something with my friends as often as I can.
At the weekend I enjoy to be outside and do sport.

Music, Movies, and Books

The last book I read which impressed me was 'Night Train to Lisbon' written by Pascal Mercier. It is about courage to leave your life and start somewhere else in another country where you'r not able to speak the language. And about your own behaviour and reflexion yourself.
One of my favourite movies is 'Green Fried Tomates'. Even I watched the movie more than one time he still impresses me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my Scotland trip I met a couple which cared for me and a friend like parents without knowing us. They asked us to stay with them for 4 days. Their acting impressed me quit a lot. We felt like we would doing holidays at our grandparents.
The nature always impress me. Sometimes you something totally beautiful and I'm astonished that something like this can exist. And it makes me happy and i could g´hug the whole world.

I would love to learn to trust people.
