ABOUT ME

Im a 21 year old Danish guy, with a hopeless crush on music. I spend all the time I can get between studies and work on producing and playing out. I study philosophy since I always enjoyed th challenge of thinking. Naturally philosophy is much more than just that, but I find that together with music it fits my schedule up nicely. I currently work at a danish newspaper with a (sort of) leftist discourse which keeps my political interest peaked. Beside these things I simply looove to cook. As it is, I cook mostly vegetarian since I find it funny and healthy, but the accidental burger or lasagna sometimes finds it way to my kitchen as-well. I enjoy working out a lot, and have been studying a bit of anatomy to find the best program possible.
I will be moving to Berlin from start February and Im looking very much forward to digging the city in everyway possible. From early mornings at museums till early mornings at Berghain ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Tuff one.. I guess thats hard to say for me, since I'm not done with my education yet.

I allways work my hardest to keep an open mind, and a positive outlook on life. I figured, that by allways smiling at the world theres a bigger chance that it might smile back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, my place in Copenhagen is allready filled up with people from portugal, falster, and jutland sleeping on couches madresses and sometimes in beds, so I won't be able to supply a bed couch I take over my new place in Berlin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience through this website, but I love to travel, and everytime im out on a new adventure I often wind up living with people in exchange for cooking and cleaning. I guess thats sort of couchsurfing aswell :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of the beat-generation, Kerouac, Ginsberg and Burroughs. Besides from that I enjoy classical work by Orwell, Kafka and such. Of course I like Platho, Aristotle aswell as Rawls, Nozick and Kymlicka and philosophical writers.
Im very open to new music, but when I'm out playing I mostly play Soul/funk, Deephouse and Nu-Disco. What I allways look for in music, is something that touches me in a way thats hard to explain. That can be in whatever genre it wants to be.
I really like old 70'es films like the blaxsploitation genre, or oldschool dramafilms. Also I love old movies with a musical theme, like the blues brothers, boogienights or the commitments.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember one time when I was bungee-jumping of a cliff into an old gletcher in Switzerland. It had been raining all day, so the bottom of the valley was a violent streaming river. Just as I jumped, lightning pierced the sky as time stod still around me. That was really fun, and when I got down, all I wanted to do was to have another jump :-)

I have my knowledge in philosophy and music, which I love to share. Something I would really like to lean is how Berlin works and how to talk to German people :-)
