I'm an easygoing guy with various interests.

It's pretty easy to have fun with me. Due to long experience with sports, I'm pretty into it and always keen to try something new. So far, I did fencing, sailing, lacross and tried various more.
I love to travel, see and learn about new countries. On the way, it's always fun to know new people. During that, I'm also keen to learn something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a lot of fun to travel the world and to know people from all different places. I'd love to get to know the places I travel from a different perspective. With meeting other couchsurfers, I'm sure I've found a great oportunity to do so.

Interests

I've been fencing since 1998. With it my passion for sports started. Additionally, fencing took me to some interesting places and made me meet a lot of interesting people.

With sailing I started during my studies. After getting my licence, I went on some turns in Croatia and the Baltic Sea.

Board and card games are another passion of mine. My favorites include Wizard, Carcassone, Settlers of Catan and Munchkin.

Music, Movies, and Books

I realy like speed folk rock. Thus, Flogging Molly, Fiddler's Green and Dropkick Murphys are among my favorits :)
Besides that, most of metal, ska, rock, orchestral music and and and are fine as well ;)

I just love the disc worl novels written by Terry Pratchett. However, currently, I'm ready the Illiad (well more or less).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhh..there are a few...I would perefere to ahre those over a glass of wine or so, whille hearing yours :)

Nevertheless, during a sailing trip in Coratia we had some realy rough wheather (wind 6+, waves 4-6m, or so). While our captain kept everthing in check, I had to stear the boat. Thus, to have a better view where to go, I was standing on the benches at the stern while holding the stearing wheel. The waves were pushing us around and it was quite hard to keep on track. However, it somehow work. :D
