I've worked on organic farms the last couple of years. I'm an avid hiker, camper and outdoors person, but I also love gaming, reading, stand-up, concerts and festivals.
I'm lucky that my current situation allows me to work most of the year, save up money and have enough time to go on extended hiking trips/ visit friends/ see interesting places and meet new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people in the places I visit! I've met some folks who used to host and they were lovely, so I figured to just try it out. I got lucky on previous trips to meet friendly people on the trail who would let me crash, but since I'm travelling around more and sticking to cities, I would like to have it figured out this time.
I'm planning to take guests when I've got a place, but currently I'm living on one farm or another and am not in a position to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: pretty much anything goes. Hip Hop, Metal, Indie Rock, 60s-90s (Awesome Mix!), Techno, all of it. Not too wild about country. Doc Robinson has a special place in my heart.
Love books, will read most anything. A lot of historical stuff and non-fiction, interesting biographies, accounts from explorers (e.g. Shackleton), but also Science-Fiction and classic authors like Hemingway, Steinbeck and lots of Germans.
I love Always Sunny in Philadelphia and consider Bojack Horseman a personality trait. Haven't watched anything Marvel. Favourite movie is probably Trainspotting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've made my own cheese while working in a creamery! I'll teach you how to do it in your kitchen if you want me to.

Teach, Learn, Share

Through my work I've got some knowledge of ecological/ farming topics which I'm always happy to share with interested people. Can and will teach you all about riding a cow.
Generally I'm fascinated by all sorts of different and foreign things, so chances are I'll be very interested in what you are doing and stories that you have to tell!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and got some fun stories. Low maintenance and can strike a conversation with most anybody. I'm open to anything, used to being on my own but I love to spend time with others. If you've got recommendations or fun activities, I'm always up!
Really like board games and always got a set of backgammon in my backpack.
