Overview
About Me
I guess looking out the window it's easy to become scared about the times we live in. In that respect, I'm trying to just be nice to people, look out for the people around me and live so that there's still a planet to live on in 50 years.
Otherwise: I'm curious, happy to discuss and debate, train enthusiast and car-sceptic, see you soon ^^
PHILOSOPHY
- Don't panic
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't been very active in Couchsurfing lately (see my references) but I'm still down to see what and who's out there through this platform.
Interests
Probably strongly music-related. I dance Lindy-hop, Blues and Balboa and play some instruments (Saxophone, Guitar, Cajon) on various levels of skill ^^"
I like being out in the wild on a good hike and enjoy the clean air but I also fancy spending a few hours in a cool museum on things past and present.
Lastly, I'd say that traveling the world is very much about food, so it's fair to say that I really like eating.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All the jazzy, funky, souly, groovy, electronic, rap-hiphop stuff. No techno.
Movies: Everything except for horror and slasher movies. Big Star trek/scifi fan.
Books: historical/classic literature and popular science.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dive with the sharks and huge sea turtles on the Galapagos archipelago
Climb a Gigant hollow tree on the inside in Costa rica
Gigantic volcanic Eruption at night above the clouds in Guatemala
Spend a night in the sahara in Morocco
Wander the ramparts of Jerusalem
Dance on the streets in New Orleans
Hitchhike the Balkans
Stuff
Teach, Learn, Share
In my normal live I work a lot in IT/AI/computer vision stuff so I guess if you're interested in that - that would be a forte of mine.
Otherwise I'm of course happy to teach a few basic lindy hop steps (it's really easy!), some basic guitar chords, cajon drum patterns and of course a good story.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dresden isn't big, but it certainly has it's charms. We can walk the historic old city center and explore the more subculture parts of the city across the river. Or go for a hike in the nearby national park.
