ABOUT ME

My home country is Holland. That little country next to Germany. I just finished my study Logistics in June 2009. Next to my education I worked as a truck driver, deliver bread to the supermarkets and also transport flower bulbs (tulips) inside the Netherlands.
In September 2009 I started my trip around Europe. I enjoy it very much till now. Also, I broke a lot of records. It was my first time outside the European Union, in an another time zone, in Asia and most far away from my mom. But I want break more records in my life. So challenge me.

PHILOSOPHY

First to travel around Europe and than, the rest of the world. There is so much to see in Europe, why should you go outside this continent.
Meet people, know them better and learn more about there culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed three times in Greece. Really cool!
In the Island Chios I stay in somebodies home, but actually I never met this guy in real till now. A Greek-family hosted me for a week in Athens (Piraeus). Also the Belgium student Koen let me sleep in his crib in Thessaloniki.

In Timisoara (Romania), I slept there for two nights.

In Germany I have two surf experiences:
Bochem en Dortmund. It was getting already cold at that moment.

I have only positive experiences this couchsurfing project. Thank you all.

I'm reading The Beach (English) at the moment. Almost finished this book. From de film with Leo, I can recommend you this book.
