my mission is to make travellers happy by hosting them at my place and to be made happy by being hosted by them. :)
Currently living in Norman, Oklahoma and working as a Fulbright language teaching assistant for German at the University of Oklahoma. It's an incredibly interesting opportunity to spend an extended period of time in a place that probably no one would ever even visit on a trip through the US. Naturally I try to travel as much as possible during the year I will be living here, so if you are reading that, it's very likely that I sent you a request during one of my road trips. So please host me, it will be amazing :)
host or being hosted? that's the question
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
mostly hosting, but i also want you guys to accept my requests ;) (this mainly refers to my usual CS routine back in Austria, unfortunately I don't have much space to host people here in the US)
"just returned from my first ever couch surfing trip, and was pretty amazed. so i decided to start hosting people as well."
"i just realized that i wrote this about 3 years ago. so maybe it's time for a little update: i have hosted a lot of people now and still think that cs is awesome. okay, not much of an update.."
another year gone by, still happy. This is getting monotonous.
i like to play basketball, to watch basketball, to cook, to eat, to laugh, to play ukulele, to sing (pretty bad), to listen to crappy 90s music, to run, to go out, to have parties, to meet my friends, to find new friends, to make bad jokes, to read, to go to the theatre, to play computer games, to skateboard, to not study but instead update my cs profile, to travel, to just hang around, to bike, to be with a lot of people, to go to museums, to watch movies, to be alone and to make endless lists of things i like to do
Music, Movies, and Books
changes too quickly to write it down here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
travelling through cuba for a month and experience a totally different country with amazingly nice people and a wonderful landscape.
playing a concert in the opera house in sydney with an orchestra.
Teach, Learn, Share
since i study to be a german teacher, i could teach you some basics in that departement :D
i also play the ukulele (not too outstanding, but i can perform some songs), so if you always wanted to learn how to play "somewhere over the rainbow" on a ukulele, i can teach you that.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Austria, Belgium, United States
