ABOUT ME

Married, fairly quiet and easy going,love experiencing new places when I get the chance. Fanatical about fishing. Also really enjoy cycling, hiking, kayaking and running. Have never owned a tv. I like dogs more than cats(not sure is that really relevant..)I enjoy company but am perfectly happy and content on my own too. Not a fan of crowds though. Africa has an unusually strong appeal for me... never been to Asia or S America or any of the Pacific Islands... so much to see and so little time.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is the only thing that can be bought that actually makes us richer.

Movies: Shawshank redemption, In Bruges and Run Fat Boy Run, would be some favourites.
Music: U2, snowpatrol, the script, enja, nightwish, happoradio, ah theres too many to list.
Books: Tolkien and Wilbur Smith are favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled 4000 miles from New York to the Pacific coast with my wife. Saw Icebergs off the coast of Labrador. Masai Mara reserve in Kenya and the sun setting over the Kalahari desert along the Orange river in South Africa. and seeing my wife on our wedding day:D
