ABOUT ME

I'm an open-mind, easy going guy. I'm doing my best to enjoy my time on the planet as much as I can !
I like to try different kind of food
I enjoy a lot of different sports such as rock climbing, sailing, biking, scuba diving, sky diving, high mountain hiking.

I quitted my job in Congo as an heath and safety manager in January 2014 and travelled for about 2,5 years in 36 countries.
Ended up coming back to where I started in Pointe-Noire, Congo for a new job.
Newly (October 2019) moved to Kinshasa, DRC

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At first (back in 2007-2009) I mostly used CS to travel as I didn't have my own place (parents house or student house).
In 2010-2014 I became much more a host, the most active and fast responding one in Pointe-Noire (Congo) according to few guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Few surfing experiences in Europe, Brazzaville, Dubai, Singapour and Brazil.
Some hosting experiences while I was in Pointe-Noire, Congo.
I've also participated to some meetings while in Paris.

Interests

I've been sailing since I'm 6 year old and I used to be a sailing instructor during school holidays.
I like to travel in a way I can learn about the country I'm visiting, i.e by meeting locals.
Also I've joined a few NGOs while on the road.
I love spending time with friends and hanging out with them...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Gorillas tracking, Nkuringo, Uganda
- 6 days - 110km - hike deep in the Guatemalan jungle to reach the lost city of El Mirador - Biggest pyramid in the world, Petan, Guatemala
- Made it to a 6000+ m asl summit in Peru.
