ABOUT US

We (were) 22 years old and grew up in Roskilde, Denmark, a city of 55.000 people located 20 miles outside of the capitol Copenhagen, when we decided to pack up and go on a roadtrip throughout the US. The trip lasted for six months and took a through 25 states in our ancient, white Acura with sunroof and badass flipping-headlights. Returning to Denmark, we moved to Copenhagen where we shared an apartment for a year. Now we live in different countries. Mads is still in Norrebro, Copenhagen - a very nice multicultural part of the city - while Johan has recently moved to London, to pursue studies at LSE.

We both love traveling and had some of our best experiences through the couchsurfing. The community took us in everywhere we went, from Seattle to Phoenix, and from Memphis to New Brunswick.

Now the time has come for a return to the U.S., to see old friends from our epic odyssey and hopefully make new ones.

Our statement from our first trip to America still holds: "We hope to learn from the people we meet on our travels and we try to be patient in life, not hurry through, forgetting what really matters."

We are interested in music, meeting new people, traveling, having fun, drinking beer and expanding our horizon by experiencing new cultures and talking to people who come from a different background than ourselves.
