As young as I can remember, I've always been the adventurous type; started with climbing trees to dangerous heights, and has led me down the road to becoming a professional pilot. It's true to say that traveling and exploring is in my blood. I love meeting new people, exploring the local culture, making new friends and sharing life stories. I got my private pilots license in high school, and knew at that moment that I had found my passion. I left my hometown for school in Florida to pursue my aviation career, however, 9/11 interrupted my grand plan. I later moved to Colorado, then on to San Diego, where I remained for about 5 years. I literally woke up one morning and resigned from my desk job; it just wasn't working for me anymore and needed to get back to the skies! I'm an optimist, and like to be around people that are the same!

I enjoy making friends from all walks of life and learning about other cultures. I love listening to other people stories and sharing mine as well. Traveling can be expensive so trying to be as budget conscious as I can!

I've recently found a passion in photography. I bought a camera this past summer and dove right in to learning everything I could about the camera and photography. I enjoy sharing my photos with others and giving them a glimpse of how I see the world. I grew up on the water, so anything involving being next to the lake or ocean will make me happy. I also enjoy yoga, camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, sailing, flying, biking, antiquing, and being handy around the house

I'm a big fan of live music and support local artists. I love all genres of music and discovering new music and attending music festivals. However my favorites include: Modest Mouse, RHCP, Bon Iver. I've recently gotten into classic novels such as Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Mark Twain, etc.

While flying over the Southern California coast, I was fortunate to see a rare perspective of a common occurrence in nature. While the sun was setting, a small rain storm had developed along the coast. A rainbow was born. However, this was no ordinary one, it was what I discovered to be a perfect rainbow. One that makes a complete perfect circle in the sky. Was an incredible sign to see!
