I am John and I am 25 years old and from England. I started travelling in June 2016 and I am absolutely hooked. I love the experience of the not knowing, whilst travelling. I am an outgoing, trust worthy and honest young man. I have travelled around Europe, New Zealand and visited the USA and Australia. I am on couchsurfing as I would like to continue travelling and experiencing life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined Couchsurfing because I really enjoy travelling and am interested in meeting like minded travellers in a new way. I have one previous experience of Couchsurfing in New Zealand and absolutely loved it!!!. Whilst travelling in Europe and New Zealand, I have experienced Woofing and thoroughly enjoyed that experience too.

Interests

I really love to explore new places. My favourite way to travel is on foot. Long walks, Kayaking and watching the world go bye are some of my favourite things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is the Foo Fighters. I have a varied choice in music and am happy to listen to anything really. Over the last few years I have really enjoyed attending music festivals across the UK.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaking down Soca River near Bovec in slovenia in the Julian Alps where you can drink the water directly from the river because so clean and natural. The Julian Alps are absolutely stunning and being in the nature is beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English and am happy to do language exchange.
I am also a qualified engineer so I can help with children's school work if required.
I can share my experiences of the world as well as lend a hand were necessary.
I would really like to learn more languages and about different cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a can do attitude and am happy to help in preparing meals and washing up dishes.
I am hard working and am fairly good at DIY and other practical tasks.
