About Me

I'm new to couch surfing and looking forward to hosting my first guests. I've started traveling more recently and love the idea of couch surfing to see more place and meet more people.

My place is on "Market Square", downtown, and imo, the best place in Knoxville to eat and drink. Its 3 doors down from Knoxville's best music venue, Preservation Pub, which has at least one band every night of the week .

I'm a lawyer and tend to stay pretty busy, especially during the week. I've lived in Knoxville since 2002 and know it well, so I'm happy to answer questions and, when I can, go out for hikes, meals, drinks, or whatever else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've got a great place and would love to share it while meeting fun, interesting, open-minded travelers from all over.

Interests

Great meals, hiking and the outdoors, running, crossfit, reading, and my dog Stella.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Once a Runner" by John L. Parker and most anything by John Krakauer, especially "Into the Wild" and "Into Thin Air"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just got back from hiking and exploring Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks in Utah. They are amazing places and I can't wait to explore some more.

I traveled all over Europe for a month, but I was a kid. It was a great experience and one I'd like to replicate in South and Central America.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach or share lots of things about Knoxville (especially when it comes to food and good beer). Also most anything you could ever want to know (or not) about DUIs and criminal defense. I'm currently learning the guitar and would be happy to learn more from anyone who I hosted.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A great place to stay in the best part of the city and a friendly host who is happy to socialize and play tour guide or let you do your thing. Also, an adorable Blue Heeler/Boston Terrier mix named Stella.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland
