I am currently on an open-ended, round-the-world trip and am having the time of my life!

In regards to myself, I am extroverted but have really appreciated the alone time that comes with travelling solo.
I enjoy a night out but am often content with a quiet night in and good conversation.
I love sport. Playing and watching all kinds.
I love music. I get restless when I haven't played the piano or guitar for a time.
I love surfing. Few things beat being out in the ocean as the sun rises or sets.
I love nature. I love climbing things, especially when there is a view to be enjoyed at the top.
I believe in objective truth. I enjoy contending for it in a friendly and respectful manner if others are willing.
I am fascinated by other cultures, people, places, history, languages and philosophies.
I love couchsurfing and workaway. What a privilege it is to be invited into a strangers home and be shown the hospitality I have so far. It's amazing how quickly meaningful relationships develop in such a short time. I am so thankful for the kindness and openness of others.
I love my family and friends and Australia. As much as I have, and will enjoy travelling, there is still no place like home.

Cultural exchange and broadening my horizons! I love the idea of meeting new people and gaining an appreciation for the local culture and way of life. All that, as well as laughing a lot and having a great time.

Unfortunately I won't be able to host anytime soon while I am travelling abroad indefinitely but I am excited to return the favour if the opportunity presents when I am back home.
