I am a retired Hospital Porter though I have done various other occupations. I do voluntary work at my local foodbank for the last three years. I have over many years visited Northern Ireland to participate in cross community volunteer projects and love visiting the province. I also have a london irish family background emanating from County Galway. I take a keen interest in current affairs ,politics, internatioal affairs. I am reasonably fit and healthy for a man of my years and enjoy getting out and about and socialising. I have my favourite bars in Belfast, Derry and Downpatrick

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have in the past stayed at hostels but very often in recent years find the bunk beds uncomfortable for my 70 year old body and also for my weak bladder to put it politely the regular desire to urinate if i am lying horizontally . I would much prefer to sleep on someones armchair and pay for the priviledge.
