About Me

I am fun person who wants to learn about the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to meet new people! Who have a taste for adventure! I especially want to learn languages so I believe this is the best way!

I want to maintain an attitude of openness towards the world and to accept the good things whenever they happen, and I believe this is also the ethos of the couchsurfing world, hence, here I am!

Interests

Books and music really, I would love us to just listen to music all day or night. There's loads of genres I don't know about, but would love to know what your absolute tunes are. Same goes for books, I've studied books all my life so I'm sure we will find something to discuss in this way. And cycling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 14 I was playing for my school football team, we were getting spanked by this other team, we were losing 9-0 and they really wanted to get to double figures. It was very humiliating. In the last minute, they mounted another attack, the goalie rushed out but the striker dribbled around him, I ran back to the line. The striker saw me on the line so he shot into the top corner, I had no choice, I jumped to my left and pushed it over the bar with my right hand. They were so angry. The referee told everyone to calm down, he said 'I will not send you off because it is the 90th minute and your team is losing 9-0, but never do that again.' I didn't care. They took the penalty and they actually missed. The ref blew the whistle. We lost 9-0. We were so happy because we didn't lose 10-0. My team hugged and kissed me, it was a great day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know the best stuff in north, east and south london. I don't know about west.

I am very interested in languages and one day I want to speak seven languages, at the moment I only have one, so you have to help me! In turn I work as an English teacher so I will help you with the last bits of the English language that remain a mystery to you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very versatile, for example the last new person I stayed with I helped him with his anthropology exam as I have a bit of knowledge about that. He practiced his notes in French and I had to read it to see if he was right, my French is still bad but we got through. I will help you with whatever project you have and we will have a good conversation. It is not about just staying with someone but if things go well, it is to have some kind of exchange.
