Hello everyone! My name is John Girardot. I'm a fourth year student at the University of Cincinnati majoring in accounting and business analytics. I've spent most of my life in West Chester, a northern suburb of Cincinnati, but I currently life in Clifton, the area where UC is located. In my free time, I like to do something active. For me, that usually that entails some sort of sport. My favorite sports to play are basketball and tennis, but I'm really a fan of all sports.

I want to continue exploring the world. I've been many portions of the eastern United States, but I haven't spent much time at all west of the Mississippi River. I'm hoping to gain a better understanding of the different subcultures that we have here within the US and around the world. I'm always up for meeting new people, especially those unlike the people that I associate with on a day to day basis.

Intereses

Sports (anything really), Outdoor activities (fishing, hiking)...I would like to try rock climbing, Flying radio control airplanes, video games (big into classics like N64), chilling out, meeting new people (I'm a "buddy" for foreign exchange students at UC)

Jack Johnson, Forest Gump, Grapes of Wrath...I like to play the trumpet. Hoping to get back into piano. I'm not much of a reader of the most part. My recent favorite work of art is Interstellar.

Traveled in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong), Thailand (Chang Mai), Singapore, Australia (Sydney)...This was a study abroad trip with school. We visited two companies a day during the work week and then had the remaining time to explore.

Service trip in Nicaragua...digging trenches, laying pipeline in the quest to bring a community a clean water source
