Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an American lucky enough to live in Istanbul for one year for employment and I intend to make the most of it by traveling throughout Europe and parts of Asia! I believe that getting to know the people of my travel destinations has just as much value as seeing the sights and attractions. I'm a friendly guy who really enjoys sharing hobbies and cultures with new people.

Istanbul is a wonderful city and although I'm not a local, I am happy to share my knowledge with any who are traveling through.

Interests

I've loved cars my whole life but I'm a relatively new fan of motorsports. Started learning how to drive my car on a race track two years ago and am totally hooked. My fielty is pledged to Ford!

I've played golf for 20+ years and tennis for 10. I really enjoy watching American professional hockey and baseball. After living in Kentucky, USA for 1 year, I am also an avid Bourbon lover. I will never turn down a movie and have always loved the cinema. When I have the chance, I also enjoy doing some snowboarding!
