I enjoy meeting open-minded people who expose me to new ideas and experiences. I also enjoy getting outdoors for a run or bike ride, or going to museums and events around my home city of Washington, DC, so I'd be interested in hanging out if I have free time during your visit.

NOTE: Please make sure your profile has been verified before requesting to stay with me. I give preference to people with verified profiles and positive reviews from other hosts/travelers. It's also generally easier for me to host on weekends and during fall, winter or springtime because my house isn't air conditioned and it gets very hot in the summertime! I rode my bicycle across the United States, from Seattle to Boston, when I was 13 years old. I also lived in Samoa for 3 years, teaching math, chemistry and physics as a Peace Corps volunteer.
