About Me

I am an architect based in Berlin for more than 10 years.
Always highly interested in traveling, languages and foreign cultures, I used to live in Nicaragua in the beginning of my 20ies for one year. After I worked in Marseille (French) and Crete (Greece) as a carpenter, it finally took me to study one year at the architecture faculty of Lisbon, Portugal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being between two jobs I managed to get 2 months off before starting in the new studio. Spontaniously, I decided to book a flight to Boston and now I´m travelling for 6 weeks through the US until the end of July.
My friend Till (friends for almost 20 years) is joining me for the first 2 weeks in June. We are really open to meet people from the city we are staying in which always has been the best and most likely way to get to know the cites.

Interests

As an Architect I´m highly interested in Design, Art and especially in the developing and using of all kind of citys. The way people use public spaces and the pattern of streets and buildings is a really interesting sign how society works.

To travel with Till is always a pleasure. Fun as much as trying to analyse our surrounding always is in a good balance. He, as an writer and political scientist, is always giving me new inspiring points of view how to see things, which is double interesting if you are travelling.

Beside that we really like meeting people and exchanging live experiences in different cultures. Till is more about food (used to work in different gastronomy in Hamburg and Berlin), me about the languages (used to live in different countries around the world).
