Algo increíble que he hecho

There is something magical about pushing yourself to your limits, and as a self proclaimed recovering adrenaline junkie I have pushed my limits many times! One such occasion happened when I was living in Vermont. I was hiking alone and wandered into an old abandoned quarry. I decided to climb my way out of the quarry because well... why not! When I was about 10 feet from the top I got stuck on a little perch. There was a no way I was going to attempt to climb 80 feet back down and above me there was nothing but a flat slate wall and a tree that hung over the cliff. I was forced to make a decision: wait for help (which might not come for days) or take a leap of faith and try and jump out and grab the tree. Well I took a leap of faith and had one of the greatest adrenaline rushes I have ever felt.

Another memory that I don't mind sharing came about when I was doing some back country snowboarding in Vermont. I saw a guy standing on top of a cliff spotting a landing. His friends were all standing around with camera waiting for the sun to poke back out so they could take a good pic. I however was trying to figure out the fastest way down the mountain just incase I needed go for help. After about 5 minutes this guy straightened his skis and dropped the cliff. He was going head first as if he was diving off the cliff I honestly think my heart stopped beating. At the last possible moment he finished the rotation and stomped the landing. When I asked him why he went for the flip he said his friend was just killed in a avalanche a few weeks before and be wanted to do something special for him. I was amazed not only by his talent but also by his modest swagger. What a great way to tempt fait.
