Overview
About Me
I studied philosophy as an undergraduate and read theology at Oxford. For nearly six years I was a Benedictine monk, and my monastic experience continues to inform aspects of my life today. I am married to Lorenzo, a splendid and interesting former ballet dancer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I enjoy travel but have rather a slender budget for it, and like the idea of sharing a place to stay reciprocally with others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've skydived twice and would LOVE to get a license.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share a bit about philosophy, theology, and monasticism, if such things interest you. My husband and I can share some of the things we enjoy doing and places we enjoy going in the Antelope Valley and Southern California more broadly.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am no Escoffier but I love to cook and would be delighted to do so for you. My husband and I are happy to share in household chores, too. We are quiet and introverted and thus content to keep to our selves if you prefer that, but we also enjoy getting to know new and interesting people.
