I am a firefigther in Parkersburg WV. I very much enjoy the outdoors and spend a fair amount of days spending time in nature. My schedule allows for a lot of time off, so I have lots of hobbies, which is a real blessing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel as much as I can, although I have not done as much as I'd like. When I do travel I don't typically enjoy the typical tourist activities such as sightseeing or shopping. I find that Id rather be doing some sort of activity when I travel somewhere. I usually base my vacation destinations around climbing or some sort of other outdoor activity. Couchsurfing should be a good way to network with people in the area and get the ins and outs of whats worth checking out. I find that when staying with locals you can experience an area much more intimately, so couch surfing is just a win win all the way around.
