Hello,
My name is John Stubljar and I'm a Canadian who is currently on a bikepacking trip through Europe. After completing a summer cycling through Ontario and Quebec in 2020, it sprouted the seed that was planted in my head many years ago of bicycle touring through Europe. In May 2022 I flew from Toronto, Canada to Faro, Portugal where I began my journey. I plan on spending the next several months cycling through Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Croatia, and Italy(and possibly more).
A little about me, I'm a 1st generation Canadian in his mid-thirties born and raised in Mississauga ON. I'm bilingual speaking Croatian(conversational). Some hobbies and interests I have other than cycling include: travelling, hiking, portaging, music, live shows, permaculture, organic gardening, learning about and experiencing new cultures, food, and comedy to name a few. One day in the near future I hope to work within the permaculture industry in some form.
In a nutshell, I would describe myself as a laid back person who likes to try new things with a natural curiosity about life.
