I'm a high school social studies teacher in New Jersey public schools with a past in DIY communities/couchsurfing through playing music in a "punk" band. I've hosted hundreds of musicians and other creative people at my places of residence over the years and have also done plenty of couchsurfing through those experiences extraneous of this website.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

One of the musicians I used to tour with had a slogan for when we would be guests in someone's home: "Always do the dishes." This even meant ones that were in the sink before we arrived. I'd like to think I'm a conscientious guest who tries to keep things as simple and easy as possible for the hosts. I'm also happy to socialize and hang out, especially if I'm in a new town, and partake in whatever my hosts are partaking in if they'd like. I'm also perfectly happy to keep to myself if that works better too - I am skilled at finding things to do wherever I am.
