About Me

I write and perform Comedy in Atlanta, and have also been acting for about four years. I think of myself as an open-minded, down-to-earth, and easy-going dude, as well as a total "yes man"- always up for just about anything. Considering going pro in Online Backgammon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love traveling, and even more so, meeting new people. (In fact, a couple times a year I'll clear out a week or two on my calendar and just get in my car and see where I end up.) I think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to have a more enriched experience while traveling. It's like an instant "in" to whatever city in which you might find yourself, and a more direct opportunity to build real friendships while on the road. Also, just the image that the term "Couchsurfing" creates in my mind is enjoyable to me.

Interests

At the moment comedy takes up almost all of my time and is my #1 passion. But outside of that I'm a huge craft beer enthusiast, college-level and pro-level basketball and football fan, and a huge history and science buff. Also, I love eating, like, a lot. I would say I couldn't live without it, but I don't wanna be dramatic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enormous Pink Floyd fan, along with Outkast, Duke Ellington, Eric Dolphy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Thrid Eye Blind, Jimi Hendrix, almost everything in the Classical or Jazz category, and a million more.

Love the Matrix series, Lord of the Rings series, Star Wars series, and The Fifth Element.

Dr. Seuss; pretty much exclusively.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In college, as a member and Step Team Captain of a historically black fraternity, I choreographed, wrote the script to, and performed in a Step show that won two different Step contests, including our Homecoming Step Show that took place in front of an audience of over 5,000. This sounds like a joke. It is 100% real.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to buy beer, food, DVDs, Slinkies, and/or any other supplies we might need to have a good time during my stay!

I could also share funny stories, but I think we might need the beer first.
