ABOUT ME

Born in Toronto but grew up in the town of Haliburton, Ontario. I'm an outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing what life has to offer. After about a year of backpacking around Europe, Scandinavia and Australia, I moved around a bit for my professional career. I consider myself fortunate to be able to settle down (for now) in my hometown and in my own house. I love the outdoors and enjoy many summer/winter sports! Slalom water skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, sailing, alpine skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc. I also have a beautiful dog named Lacey.

PHILOSOPHY

I've never really thought about what my personal philosophy would be but I suppose that traveling has made things clearer for me in this regard. I'd have to say it would be "try anything".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point I've never actually used this site before. I'm giving it a try because I've heard good things about it from friends - both those I went to school with and met backpacking. As my backpacking days are on hold for now, at least I can give back by letting fellow travelers stay at my home and experience the beauty and fun of small-town country life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've actually never had a Couchsurfing experience so far. To be honest i'm actually looking forward to it. I've heard good things so far otherwise i wouldn't be trying it. I'll update this section once I've got some.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmm, i wonder if seeing the rubik's cube solved in around 2 minutes before which i got to pick the colour that i wanted solved first counts? i've got a video of it and it was pretty sweet.
