ABOUT ME

I am an American living in France off the beaten path in
Le Havre. I am here on a work visa to teach English in a high-school and a middle school. I am not a planner, but I dream a lot and hope to continually be able to reinvent myself as the years go on. I stand face against the world and say; bring it on, show me what you got.

PHILOSOPHY

Always do the dishes, not only if you didn't use them, but especially if you didnt use them. They are one of the few messes we make during our lives that we can actually clean up.

Language. Anything everything to do with communication: linguistics, culture, idiomatic expressions, words; everything. I can while away the hours talking about grammar if you are into that kind of thing. Chess, guitar, reading and writting.

Steinbeck and Hemingway fill my dreams with their realism; my favorite authors. I'm also getting into French Literature in a big way. I love watching movies. In short; story is important to me.
