About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see interesting sights and to enjoy the company of people I meet, and make new friends along the way.
ABOUT ME
Retired military chap. After 22 years of service and not appreciating the countries I visited, I now want to make up for it.
Several years ago I went on holiday to India. The holiday turned into a lifestyle and I bought a Royal Enfield and thought I'd conquer the world, 3 motorcycles and 8 years later I'm still getting there.
Every few years I take a short holiday off the bike to try the lightweight approach of backpacking, it´s a little different as it´s harder to get around but less stressful with the problem of security for my bike.
A little to old to party and prefers a quieter life, but not quite pipe and slippers yet.
PHILOSOPHY
Think Nehru had a good quote,
We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cannot mention one thing as so far I have seen many amazing things. Seeing the Dalai Lama, the Himalayas and tigers in India. Whalesharks in the Philippines, Orang utans in Borneo, Sharks in Sipadan. So much seen and so much more to see. Earth quakes (well plenty of big tremors) and just lately being left behind with a volcano going off just 10km away, now that was fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
Trying to Learn Spanish, as I may be in South America a while I should get to grips with it sooner rather than later.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Having travelled around the world on my bike for the last 8 years I have plenty of stories that will put you to sleep. The countries below are only this trip, I've visited many more with my time in the military. As an ex professional photographer, I can always give you a few tips.
