Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Caravan by Van Morrison is currently hanging out at the top of this list. Beyond that: Flogging Molly, Mars Volta, The Streets, Modest Mouse, Tenacious D, Franz Ferdinand, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Beck, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, NIN, Pearl Jam, No Doubt, Perfect Circle, Incubus, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Jose Stone, Scissor Sisters, Regina Spektor, Muse, Clutch, Eagles of Death Metal, Massive Attack, Electric Six, Jay-Z, Johnny Cash, Alicia Keys, Frank Sinatra, The Who, Led Zeppelin (if you've never seen John Bonham's Moby Dick solo from Royal Albert Hall you need to check it out), Hot Hot Heat, plus whatever else happens to catch my interest.
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles is probably my favorite album ever!
Books - I'm currently working my way through Life of Pi. It took a moment but I do believe it has finally set the hook! Heers a few other books on my selves (hardly all inclusive): People's History of the United States of America, Lord of the Ring series, Harry Potter, Scar Tissue, Emperor series by Conn Iggulden, The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams, Shannara series by Terry Brooks, and Freakinomics. I'm actually reading four different books at the moment; The Ancestor's Tale, The Federalist Papers by Publius, Power Faith and Fantasy by Michael B. Oren, and Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting the Ruins of Ephesus and Pamukkale limestone cliffs in Turkey. The ruins are simply amazing and the limestone cliffs are probably the most beautiful natural wonder I've ever seen.
Visiting Alicante, Spain for the first time. I feel in love with that beautiful city and can't wait to go back again some day.
Kayaking in the Gulf of Mexico with friends and exploring a tiny, tropical island.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you ever visit Tampa, FL, USA you absolutely have to eat at the Taco Bus! It's a Tampa icon!
