About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world in a positive way

ABOUT ME

You could say I am a "work hard, play hard" kind of person; that I get along well with all kinds of people; that I'm curious about people and love learning about the world around me - which is what makes travel special in the first place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most recently I traveled to Croatia and am very grateful to Zoran for the amazing experiences I had in Dubrovnik and the surrounding area.

Interests

I teach the history of architecture, art, and design, which makes my travels a continuous and fun exploration of the built environment and the cultural environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Another was graduating from the University of California Berkeley with my Ph.D. in architectural history, inside the Greek Theater under the open Bay Area sky, and being the first person in the whole graduating class to kneel and accept the doctoral 'hood' being placed over my head by my advisor on that perfect day with family and friends attending...
