CURRENT MISSION

I want to find perspective. We are so immersed in our own lives we are always looking at our situations from up close. I want to find ways to draw back and gain perspective on the world around me.

ABOUT ME

I resigned from my job so that I could experience some different lifestyles. I started by spending 2.5 months in a ski resort training to be a ski instructor.

I play and coach squash regularly. I have recently started Yoga and it is taking hold of me. I am an adrenaline junkie which is part of the reason am obsessed with skiing. I feel as comfortable on my skis as I do barefoot on a grassy field, my toes digging into the grass.

I enjoy going to festivals and becoming part of the shared experience.

PHILOSOPHY

If you aren't living on the edge, you're taking up too much space. There are no absolutes - context and perspective can colour everything differently. I don't know what the most important thing in life is but I think that if I can look back on my life and know that I focused on whatever I thought was important at that time, then I can be content. Being happy is very important to me so I try to always look on the bright side and be optimistic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only just joined Couchsurfing but I have been grown up with its spirit. I love hosting foreigners in my city and sharing with them what I know. My favourite travel experiences have been when locals have taken me in and shown me around.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I went to Afrika Burn. I lived in a ski resort for a season delirious with every powder day and have now repeated that on a ski instructor course. Road trips with my best friends. Hong Kong, New York. Helicopter trips in New York and Cape Town. Scuba Diving in Mauritius
